The Glute Guide: Sculpt Your Lower Body with These 5 Moves

Let’s talk glutes, sis. Not for the likes, not for the jeans — but for power, posture, and full-body strength. A strong booty helps protect your knees, back, and core while leveling up your lower body glow.


Quick Truth:
Squats are cute, but they’re not enough. If you want real results, you need targeted glute activation. I’m dropping my Top 5 Booty Moves that helped me build shape, strength, and symmetry — from home!.

My Top 5 Glute Moves

1. Glute Bridges (w/ Pause at the Top)

Perfect for activating sleepy glutes. Squeeze for 3 seconds at the top.
✅ 3 sets of 12–15 reps

2. Banded Side Steps

Fire up the side booty and strengthen the hips.
✅ 3 rounds of 30 seconds each

3. Bulgarian Split Squats

Booty meets balance — these are a glow-up must.
✅ 3 sets of 10 reps each leg

4. Donkey Kicks

Classic. Add ankle weights for extra burn.
✅ 3 sets of 12 per leg

5. Hip Thrusts (with Band or Dumbbell)

The queen of glute gains. Focus on control over speed.
✅ 3 sets of 8–10 reps

Form Tips:

  • Don’t rush. Slow, controlled reps = deeper muscle engagement
  • Keep tension — especially with bands
  • Squeeze, don’t just go through the motions
